Someone’s already
going that way.
Errands between halls, settled in taps. A waiter picks up your ice block on a trip they were making anyway, and the price gets agreed without a single message exchanged.
A buyer in Daniel Hall posts “Ice block from Caf 1” and picks ₦300. A waiter in Joseph Hall asks for ₦700 because of a long queue. The buyer taps Meet halfway, and the waiter accepts ₦500. The buyer pays and Helpr keeps the ₦500 safe. At the door the buyer gives their delivery code, 4821, the waiter enters it, and the waiter is paid ₦500. Nobody typed a price or a message.
Built around how this campus actually works
- No phone required
- Wi-Fi reaches halls, lecture buildings and the chapel, but not the paths between them. Helpr runs on the web and in Telegram, so a laptop or tablet is enough.
- The halls are the map
- Twelve halls, each for one gender. Halls only let in their own students, so an errand to a hall for the other gender ends at the porter’s lodge. Helpr sorts that out for you.
- Curfew is built in
- From 8:45 PM it’s too late to send things between halls. From 8:50 to 11 PM, errands stay inside your own hall and only your hall’s waiters see them. Then Helpr rests until 6 AM.
- Every errand is guaranteed
- A real person checks every waiter’s student ID before they can deliver. The delivery money stays safe with Helpr until you give them your 4-digit code at the door. And if an errand doesn’t arrive, you get your money back, all of it.
Nobody swaps numbers
Every offer is a button. A waiter who wants a bit more picks a reason, and you answer with a tap. There’s nowhere to type a phone number or argue about a price, so every errand stays on Helpr, where your money is safe.
Helpr checks every waiter’s student ID before they can take an errand, and keeps a line-by-line record of every naira, so if something goes wrong we can see exactly what happened.
Try agreeing on a price
You’re the waiter first, then the buyer. Every choice is a button with the amount on it, the same ones the app and the bot give you.
Use it here, or in Telegram
Everything Helpr does works on this website. Sign up with your student email, then ask for an errand or deliver one. If you’d rather use Telegram, the bots open the same account.
